Our grooming policies are pretty much straightforward. We guarantee that our clients are satisfied and we book your appointments in advance.
We take full responsibility for your pet's optimal health for a recurring 4 week schedule. We know how to fulfill your pooch's grooming requirements. A maintenance schedule is a must for a top-notch grooming session. Remember, a grooming period of more than 8 weeks is a make-over!
“A dog that is groomed every 3-6 months see the groomers as a punishment, while a dog that is groomed every 4-6 weeks see it as a part of life”

Mona Bella Mobile Dog Grooming
For those clients who can't manage regular grooming schedules, a storefront groomer will be a better option for them. We prefer clients willing to commit to a minimum of 4 week rotation. Cancellations from the pet owners can interrupt the grooming routine of the pup. We, at Mona Bella Mobile Dog Grooming, follow the first-come, first-serve rule.
Grooming once or twice a year won't help your pup. So, we prioritize customers planning to stay on a schedule in a specific location. We know the importance of time and therefore suggest the best possible schedule for your four-legged. We closely monitor your pet's skin, coat, and other health issues for the mentioned schedule. We know how to keep their tails wagging, and our professional and time effective staff will go an extra mile to satisfy your pup's grooming needs.
To gain maximum benefit from our premium dog grooming services (that shows results), we recommend staying on a schedule. Failing to follow the schedule or canceling the plan in the midway can be stressful for your pet. Our experienced team is always busy, taking care of your pups, so re-scheduling an appointment can be a time-taking process.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Sincerely your caring groomer.
Pet Release Form
(you will sign before your dog gets groomed)
Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, I authorize this facility to immediately seek professional veterinary attention for my dog (at my expense). I understand that all attempts will be made to contact me in case of an emergency.
Coat Condition: I understand that this facility puts the comfort of my dog above everything else. In the event that my dog’s coat is matted. I understand that the groomer may have to shave the mats instead of performing a painful dematting procedure. I also understand that, if my dog is severely matted, there is a greater risk of cuts or clipper burn. I understand that all attempts will be made to prevent this, however, in many extreme conditions, it is unavoidable. I also understand that matted dogs require more time for grooming, so an additional fee will be added on top of the regular grooming fee. Depending on the condition of the coat additional charges can be added for filth, mud, feces, urine, grease, long overdue coat and females in season. Flea removal starts at $30.
Health: I understand that grooming can be stressful for some dogs and I will inform the groomer if my dog has any heart conditions, stress-related problems or any other health issues prior to grooming. Any grooming, which takes place on an elderly dog with health problems, will be at the owner’s risk. I also understand that it is necessary for my dog to be up-to-date with all vaccinations prior to every grooming. Additional charges may apply for extra handling of elderly dogs, dogs with special needs and dogs that are difficult to groom.
Cancellation Policy: I understand that if I need to change my appointment or cancel it I must give at least a 48-hour notice so that the appointment can be available for another client who is on the waiting list. A charge of $30 per dog will be added on your next visit. The second infraction or any no show a full service fee must be paid in advance in order to book again.
Flea Free Policy – Free Flea Zone
At Mona Bella Grooming, we have decided to act on the topic of Fleas and their severe effects on dogs. Any dog that comes with these pests is immediately put into a tub for a flea dip so that we get rid of the fleas and keep the salon clean and flea-free. If your dog has a lot of fleas we would have to reschedule until your dog has been treated.
I’d recommend that every client takes care of their dogs by making sure that it has no fleas. A monthly flea treatment before visiting our salon will utterly help. If not, you might have to incur extra costs.
Why the Flea Free Policy
Did you know? Adult fleas can live for as long as one year, prefer temperatures from 75-90 degrees, and a single female flea can produce as many as 1000 eggs in her lifetime, averaging 30 a day!
Fleas are a major problem – they thrive during the summer humidity as well as the cozy, comfy indoor heat during the winter. They can also be transported in varied ways and, of course, they will hitch a ride anywhere, multiply quickly and eventually turn into an infestation. It is, thus, highly critical that you familiarize yourself with the best way of dealing with them.
This Policy is meant at protecting your dog from the unpleasant effects of flea attacks as well as protecting our facility from housing the same pests. Otherwise, feel free to contact me and ask me for a flea free tip form, sincerely your caring Groomer.
